Alvaro Morata has all it takes to become one of the world’s best strikers, according to Juventus boss Andrea Pirlo.

Alvaro Morata has the quality to be one of the best strikers in the world as per Andrea Pirlo.

The Spanish striker scored a stoppage minute winner for the Italian giants against Ferencvaros in the Champions League.

The victory for Juve sealed their progress into the next round of the tournament.

Morata has been on decent form so far since his return to Juve on loan from Atletico Madrid. In the Champions League, he has already scored five goals in his first four matches in Europe this season. That tally has seen him equal his best total in a single Champions League season.

In total, the 28-year-old has seven goals from ten games this term and Pirlo is convinced the forward can rise to the very top of elite strikers in world football.

“He’s a strong player, he just needed consistency and confidence,” Pirlo said about Morata as quoted by Goal.

“If he’s well mentally then he can do anything, he can become one of the best strikers around. If he trains well, if he’s in good shape and he plays and he scores, he’s a fundamental player not just for Juventus but also for his national team.

“We work to put him in the best condition, and then he is good at finalising what he does on the pitch.”
