Real Madrid plot to sign FOUR Chelsea players
Florentino Perez wants to rejuvenate his squad in the upcoming transfer window. The Real Madrid president has his eye on Chelsea. He hopes the club’s decline will open the door to signing four players.
These are Reece James, Mason Mount, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, and ex-Real Madrid midfielder Mateo Kovacic. The latter three are out of contract in 2024. That said, Reece is the player Perez wants most. Kessie plans to stay at Barca
Barcelona midfielder Franck Kessie wants to stay at the Catalan club.
Despite transfer interest from Inter Milan, Kessie wants to continue at Barcelona. The 26-year-old Ivory Coast international arrived for free from AC Milan last summer. He has struggled to break into the line-up, starting just five of his 21 appearances in LaLiga this season. [Caughtoffside]

Nagelsmann & Chelsea finally meet
Chelsea have met with Julian Nagelsmann as they continue to ramp up their search for a new manager.
The former Bayern Munich boss is on the club’s shortlist of Graham Potter replacements. Currently, Chelsea have no preferred candidate yet. Luis Enrique, Mauricio Pochettino, Luciano Spalletti, and Ruben Amorim are also in contention. [Times – subscription required]
Arsenal set to reignite Vlahovic interest
The Premier League leaders are aiming to sign Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic.
Vlahovic previously turned down Arsenal to join Juventus in 2022. However, with the 23-year-old’s future in doubt, Mikel Arteta’s side may revive their interest. If a deal is not possible, they will target Everton forward Dominic Calvert-Lewin. [Football Insider]

Guardiola is pushing to keep Man City duo
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is working hard to keep midfielders Ilkay Gundogan and Bernardo Silva at the Etihad Stadium.
Reports have linked both players with summer transfers. Out of the pair, Gundogan is the most likely to leave. The German’s contract ends in June. His free agent status has attracted Barcelona, who also want Silva. [Football Insider]
