Real Madrid pick out a Benzema replacement

Rayan Cherki has emerged as a potential transfer target for Real Madrid as a long-term successor to Karim Benzema.

The 18-year-old can play in multiple positions across central midfield, on the flanks and as a striker. He is yet to become an automatic starter for Lyon or establish himself on the big stage.

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has listed Kalvin Phillips as a target in next summer’s transfer window.
