Draxler extends PSG deal

Julian Draxler has signed a contract extension with Paris Saint-Germain until 2023, according to L’Equipe.

The Germany international was heading towards free agency and was linked with the likes of Arsenal and Bayern Munich.

However, the 27-year-old has now agreed to accept a pay cut and stay at Parc des Princes. Draxler’s renewal comes shortly after Neymar‘s contract extension last week.

Inter against renewing Vidal

Inter Milan have decided not to use the option of extending Arturo Vidal’s contract by a further year, reports Calcio Mercato.

Tied to the club until the summer of 2022, Vidal currently takes home €6.5 million every season.

Inter’s financial situation is delicate currently, with the Serie A champions having posted a record debt, and they are ready to let go of Vidal due to his lofty salary demands.

Four-way battle for Bissouma

Premier League trio Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester City and Ligue 1 outfit Marseille are all keen on acquiring the services of Brighton’s Yves Bissouma.

Brighton are looking to get at least £30 million (€34.6m) for the 24-year-old midfielder, who has requested the club to sanction his sale in the summer. [The Sunday Times]

De Ligt not for sale

Juventus declared Matthijs de Ligt “unsellable” amid the recent spike in transfer interest for the defender.

Chelsea, Manchester United, and Barcelona all approached the Old Lady over possible summer moves for the former Ajax man, but they were all turned away.

The Dutch center-back is only two years into his five-year contract at the Allianz Stadium and is one of the first names on Andrea Pirlo’s starting XI. [Tuttosport]
