Real Madrid have eyes on Celta Vigo’s Renato Tapia as they look for a replacement for Casemiro.

Rennes’ Eduardo Camavinga is also a target for Los Blancos, but signing him won’t be easy as the highly-talented 18-year-old is being courted by a number of European giants and won’t come cheap.

Tapia is a better option as he has a relatively cheap €30 million release clause and knows the Spanish league. [Diario Gol]

Zaha determined to quit Palace.

Wilfried Zaha has made Crystal Palace aware of his desire to part ways with the club at the end of the season.

The Ivory Coast international does not intend to stay at Selhurst Park the next year and is even prepared to hand in a transfer request so as to force his departure if needed.

Martinez closing in on Inter renewal.

Lautaro Martinez is close to committing his future to Inter Milan by signing a contract extension. The Argentine striker is expected to put pen to paper on a new long-term deal with the Serie A leaders until 2025. [Todo Fichajes]

Man Utd close on De Gea successor.

Manchester United have reportedly closed the signing of AC Milan shot-stopper Gianluigi Donnarumma.

Donnarumma’s contract with Milan expires in the summer and the club have been unable to tie their prized asset down with fresh terms.

The 21-year-old Italian has reached an agreement with the Red Devils, who have accepted to make him the best-paid goalkeeper on the planet.

The likes of Juventus and Bayern Munich were also in the race to acquire the services of Donnarumma. [Todo Fichajes]

Bristol set to appoint Pearson.

Bristol City are set to appoint Nigel Pearson as their manager until the end of the season.

Pearson will succeed Dean Holden, who took the club’s managerial reigns on a one-year contract but was dismissed following a dismal run of six successive defeats, in the hot seat. [The Guardian]

Chelsea make move for Sule.

Chelsea have initiated discussions with Bayern Munich regarding a potential €30 million transfer for Niklas Sule.

Sule has been heavily linked with a move away from Bayern of late with the defender having reduced opportunities at the club.
