Dembele is a target for Manchester United and Juventus

Manchester United and Juventus are among the top clubs interested in signing Ousmane Dembele on a free transfer.

The Barcelona forward is out of contract at the end of the season. However, Joan Laporta is confident he can tie him down to a new deal until 2024 at least after face-to-back talks.

But if the Barcelona president cannot succeed, Dembele can begin talks with other clubs from January onwards. [Mundo Deportivo – in Spanish]

Aurier to join Villarreal on a free transfer

After leaving Tottenham as a free agent in August, Serge Aurier is close to finding a new club.

The Ivory Coast captain is in talks to join La Liga side Villarreal on a free transfer. He is expected to arrive in Spain on Monday to take a medical and later complete a contract. [L’Equipe – in French]

Ranieri set for Premier League return

Two years after his dismissal at Fulham, Claudio Ranieri will be a Premier League manager once again.

Alexis Sanchez protests at lack of playing time

With only 70 minutes of football this season, Alexis Sanchez has dropped a transfer hit.

The 32-year-old, who hasn’t started at all under new Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi, posted on Instagram: “Realise that you can be worth a lot, but if you are in the wrong place, you are not going to shine.”
