Traore set for new Wolves deal.

Wolves are readying a lucrative new £100,000-a-week contract for Adama Traore. The contract extension, which will tie him for four further years at the Molineux, would double his weekly wages.

Interest from outside has been generated for the 24-year old with reports linking him to Liverpool and FC Barcelona in the recent past, but now he looks set to commit his future to Wolves. [The Sun]

Szoboszlai of interest to Arsenal.

Arsenal have identified RB Salzburg’s Dominik Szoboszlai as one of their primary transfer targets. The Gunners scouts have spent much time monitoring the teenage sensation, who can operate from the left flank as well as from the center. [Football London]

Man United after Sporting prodigy.

Manchester United are chasing Sporting Lisbon’s midfield prodigy Luis Gomes, dubbed ‘the next Luis Figo’ in his homeland.

The Red Devils have already agreed to a first-refusal option for the 16-year old – should Sporting decide to sell him – for a €14.5 million. (£14m) fee.

Gomes, who only just signed a five-year deal, his first professional contract, also had offers from Atletico Madrid but decided to stay put at the Portuguese side. [The Mirror]

Juve lead race to sign Aouar.

Juventus are placed at the front of the queue to land Olympique Lyon’s Houssem Aouar amid interest also coming from Arsenal.

After adding several young talents to their ranks in the summer, the Serie A champions will begin the ‘phase 2’ of their transfer plan in January and try and further reduce the average age of the squad.
