Liverpool handed boost in race for €45m-rated Mane successor

The Reds may have been handed a boost in their transfer pursuit for Bayer Leverkusen winger Moussa Diaby.

The 22-year-old Frenchman is eyeing a summer move to a Champions League club. His most probable destinations are England and Spain. Liverpool had their eye on him last year and could revisit their interest.

Diaby, whose transfer value is rated at €45 million, has been touted as a future Sadio Mane replacement at Anfield. [L’Equipe – in French]

Van de Beek rejects Newcastle loan move

Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek has rejected a loan move to Newcastle.
