Chelsea line-up move for Aubameyang alternative
If a transfer deal for Barcelona striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang stalls, Chelsea may attempt to sign Brentford forward Ivan Toney instead.
The 26-year-old Englishman scored 12 goals for Brentford in their first Premier League campaign and has already scored twice in three games for the Bees this term.
Toney’s progress has also caught the interest of Chelsea’s fellow Premier League clubs Manchester United and Everton. [Mirror]
Atletico Madrid rule out Felix exit
The Spanish giants have told Manchester United and other interested parties that Joao Felix is ‘non-transferable’.
The 22-year-old forward is under contract with Atletico Madrid until June 2026 and has a €350 million release clause. United are said to be one of several clubs to have monitored him. However, Atletico’s stance remains unchanged: Felix is not for sale. [ESPN]

Juventus shortlist two Depay alternatives
Marseille striker Arkadiusz Milik and Bologna forward Marko Arnautovic are on Juventus’ list as alternatives to Memphis Depay.
Depay has the green light from Barcelona to terminate his contract and join Juventus on a free transfer. The forward, however, has no agreement with the Bianconeri at this stage. His salary demand of €7 million plus bonuses is not what the Serie A club had in mind.
This could convince Juve to seek deals for either Milik or Arnautovic instead. [Tuttosport – in Italian]
Chelsea eye shock swap deal for Maguire
The Blues may attempt to sign Manchester United captain Harry Maguire in a swap deal involving winger Christian Pulisic.
Chelsea are in need of a new defender and have allegedly shortlisted Maguire as a target. Thomas Tuchel’s side also remain keen on Leicester City defender Wesley Fofana.
Given United’s interest in Pulisic, however, Chelsea have offered the possibility of trading the American for Maguire. [Daily Mail]

Antony or Gakpo – which one will Man Utd sign?
Manchester United are interested in PSV star Cody Gakpo and Ajax attacker Antony.
The Red Devils, however, may only be able to complete a transfer deal for one player. As things stand, they don’t have the budget to sign both after offering Ajax £68 million for Antony last week. [Telegraph – subscription required]
