Chelsea edge closer to signing three-year £150m target
The Blues are edging closer to three-year transfer target Declan Rice.
The 23-year-old midfielder is entering the final 18 months of his West Ham United deal. Allegedly, Rice has rejected three new contract offers from the Hammers. He wants to join a Champions League club.
While a January move is unlikely, West Ham may accept a sale next summer. Manager David Moyes said £150 million (€170m) would be the ‘minimum’ price last April. [Athletic – subscription required]
Bellingham deal becoming too complicated for Liverpool
Liverpool could raise the white flag in their attempts to sign Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham.

Alonso is set for a new Barcelona deal
Marcos Alonso is close to signing a new contract at Barcelona.
The 31-year-old defender joined the Catalan club in the summer on a free transfer from Chelsea. He has made 12 appearances in all competitions this season, playing as a left-back and central defender. His current deal runs out at the end of the season. [Mundo Deportivo – in Spanish]
