Barcelona plot moves for three Chelsea stars

American winger Christian Pulisic, German defender Antonio Rudiger, and Spanish full-back Cesar Azpilicueta are on Barcelona’s transfer list.

The Blaugrana are interested in doing a loan deal for Pulisic in January. They also want to sign Rudiger and Azpilicueta on free transfers, once the pair’s respective Chelsea contracts expire next summer.

Barca also have eyes on Blues defender Andreas Christensen, but expect the Dane to sign a new deal at Stamford Bridge. [Mundo Deportivo – in Spanish]

Aubameyang to leave Arsenal?

After Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta dropped Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for a ‘disciplinary breach’ at the weekend, the Gabonese forward’s future has come under doubt.

Several former Premier League stars have spoken on the subject, with Chris Sutton predicting a possible departure.

Tottenham have begun talks with captain Hugo Lloris regarding a new contract.

Chelsea defenders ‘close’ to new deals

The Blues have made a breakthrough in contract talks with defenders Thiago Silva and Andreas Christensen.

Both players are out of contract at the end of the season, but are keen to stay. They are now ‘close’ to agreeing to new deals for next season and, in Christensen’s case at least, beyond.

Juventus eye deals for Zakaria & Kone

Borussia Monchengladbach midfielders Denis Zakaria and Kouadio Kone are Juventus’ transfer priorities.

With Aaron Ramsey and Arthur Melo set to leave, Juventus want a new midfielder. The Bianconeri are also keeping tabs on Marseille’s Boubacar Kamara and AS Roma’s Gonzalo Villar.

PSG keen to offload Icardi

Paris Saint-Germain are unlikely to turn down a reasonable offer for Mauro Icardi.

The Parisians are reportedly keen to ‘recoup’ the €50 million fee they paid Inter Milan to sign the striker on a permanent deal in the summer of 2020.

That said, PSG could accept a lower fee for Icardi as part of an attempt to offload some players in the January transfer window. Abdou Diallo and Rafinha Alcantara could also leave. [L’Equipe – in French]

Saliba snubs Arsenal future question

William Saliba has refused to confirm his plans for next season.

The 20-year-old defender is on loan at Marseille after failing to break into the Arsenal team. He has become a key player for the Ligue 1 club, prompting rumors of a longer stay.

He told RTL: “I prefer not to speak about my future, but I’m very good here. I don’t regret my decision and have been very happy since day one. I have one year here and I am going to give my all.”
