Arsenal ready to make a play for €60m Abraham alternative

As Tammy Abraham’s Chelsea future remains up in the air, Arsenal have turned their attention to Dusan Vlahovic. The Fiorentina striker could be available for a transfer at around €60 million.

Vlahovic, who scored 21 goals in Serie A last season, also interests Atletico Madrid and Tottenham.

It’s understood Arsenal and Atletico are both willing to make offers for Vlahovic, while Spurs will only act on their interest if Harry Kane leaves. [Di Marzio – in Italian]

Messi reviewing PSG contract offer

Paris Saint-Germain sent an official contract offer to Lionel Messi’s father and agent, Jorge, on Sunday morning after opening talks last Thursday.

Messi is still in Barcelona right now reviewing the contract with his father and lawyers. The Argentine is ready to accept the offer once he has reviewed and sorted all the details. He’ll then plan to travel to Paris for a medical. [Fabrizio Romano]

Mourinho eyes Icardi as Dzeko replacement

Mauro Icardi has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Jose Mourinho.

The Roma boss has set his sights on the Paris Saint-Germain striker as Edin Dzeko edges closer to a move to Inter Milan, who want the Bosnian and Atalanta’s Duvan Zapata as replacements for the Chelsea-bound Romelu Lukaku.

Willock to join Newcastle in a permanent deal

Steve Bruce has finally got his man as Newcastle have reportedly sealed a deal to sign Arsenal midfielder Joe Willock.

The Magpies boss made it no secret he wanted Willock back after a successful loan spell last season. This time, however, it will be a permanent deal. Newcastle and Arsenal have agreed on a £20 million (€23.6m) transfer fee.
