Salah entered the Premier League history books yet again during Liverpool’s match against Newcastle United.
Mohamed Salah has become the first Liverpool to score at least 20 goals across three separate Premier League campaigns.
The Egyptian star took only three minutes to break the deadlock in Liverpool’s league outing against Newcastle at Anfield on Saturday for his 20th goal of the 2020/21 campaign.
Therefore, Salah is the first Reds player to reach the 20-goal mark in three different campaigns in Premier League era as per Opta. He previously did so in the 2017/18 (32 goals) and 2018/19 (22 goals) seasons.

Ciaran Clark’s missed clearance allowed Salah to collect Sadio Mane’s cross inside the box and smash the ball into the right corner of the net after spinning away from Matt Ritchie.
The effort has put Liverpool in front and moved Salah to within a single goal of the league’s top-scorer Harry Kane in the Golden Boot race.
Jurgen Klopp’s men can temporarily move into the top-four if they win at Anfield until West Ham and Chelsea have played each other later on Saturday evening.
