Agent Mino Raiola just made an explosive revelation about one of his clients that will make many clubs scramble to sign him in January.
Mino Raiola is an expert when it comes to making his clients wanted by several clubs in the world. He made FC Barcelona pay a pretty penny for Zlatan Ibrahimovic back in the day and made Paul Pogba the most expensive football in the world for a year.
The French midfielder is not happy at Manchester United anymore, we all know Zinedine Zidane wants him for Real Madrid. However, the Red Devils have been adamant on keeping their asset at least until his contract is over. Starting in January next year, Paul can negotiate to play for any club of his choosing without the need for a transfer fee.
While there was still hope Pogba could sign a contract extension as a Red Devil, this notion was just bottled by Mino Raiola. The infamous agent spoke to Tuttosport about his client’s future and the verdict isn’t good for Manchester United.
Raiola calls for Juventus to step in.
During his interview on Tuttosport via Football Italia, Mino Raiola was clear about his client’s future as a Red Devil. As we all know, he’s been trying to become a Real Madrid player for the last couple of years. However, the Red Devils have always prevented him from taking that final step.
Mino was directly questioned about Pogba’s upcoming months and where he is going to play. While he remained coy about his client’s next club, Raiola did confirm Manchester United is no longer in his plans.
“All I can say is that it’s over for Paul Pogba at Manchester United,” said Raiola during the interview. “Juventus should have signed Zlatan Ibrahimovic, he would be a perfect attacking partner for Cristiano Ronaldo.”
