The home side will aim to make it five wins out of five in a gripping Serie A contest, but the visitors can and will look to spoil their party.

AC Milan remain the only team across the top five European leagues to maintain a 100 percent perfect record so far.

Stefano Pioli’s side sit at the summit of the Serie A table with a point lead over second-placed Napoli with a game in hand, and will seek to increase their advantage to four points on Monday night.

AS Roma, on the other hand, hold a place close to the middle of the table. They already face a five-point deficit against the league leaders and will do everything in their will to avoid falling further behind.

The Rossoneri and the Giallorossi meet at San Siro later today in what has the potential to be one of the most enthralling fixtures of the entire season.

Milan vs Roma Form:

The Red and Blacks will go into the game with an inspiring form. They recorded a comfortable win in their last match, a 3-1 result in the Europa League opener against Celtic. Prior to that, they scraped past local rivals Inter with a 2-1 scoreline.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be looked upon for a positive result on Monday night. The veteran striker has already netted four times in just two league appearances.

The Yellow and Reds are also in fairly solid shape, though no way near their upcoming opponents. Following a 3-0 loss against Hellas Verona and a 2-2 stalemate with Juventus, they got back to winning ways against Udinese.

A 2-1 midweek victory in the Europa League further improved their form.

Milan vs Roma Head-to-head:

The visitors have a slight edge over the hosts. In the last 10 clashes between the two sides, the Roma have won five times while a draw has been recorded twice.

Milan vs Roma Team News:

Hakan Calhanoglu and Ante Rebic will be the biggest names missing from the match. The former is recovering from an ankle problem while the latter will remain out of action until at least November.

Matteo Gabbia, Leo Duarte, and Mateo Musacchio are the other absentees who have been sidelined through injury.

Gianluca Mancini, Amadou Diawara, and Riccardo Calafiori, with all having tested positive for COVID-19, remain unavailable.

Paulo Fonseca has a long list of injuries, with Nicolo Zaniolo, Javier Pastore, and Chris Smalling all out.

Milan vs Roma Betting Tips:

It is hard to bet against a positive result for Milan. However, three points is certainly not guaranteed for them either.

Fatigue could be a problem for Pioli’ side who are playing shortly after Thursday’s Europa League encounter against Celtic, and it could work in favor of Fonseca’s men.
