The Premier League leaders extended their advantage over rivals Man City to five points by beating Everton 4-0 on Wednesday.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has vowed his side will relentlessly pursue a first Premier League title in 19 years.

On Wednesday evening, the Gunners moved five points clear of Manchester City at the top of the standings by crushing Everton 4-0. Gabriel Martinelli scored a brace at the Emirates Stadium. Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard were also on target.

When asked if his team is the title favorite in a post-match interview, Arteta told reporters: “You know my answer there!”

“What I like is that everybody has the enthusiasm to do it, and we’re not going to stop that – we have to promote that,” the Spaniard added.

“But the way to promote that is by looking at this game and understanding that we must do many things better, especially in the first half. We can play better and make sure we prepare really well against Bournemouth because that’s going to be a tough game.”

Arteta’s Everton counterpart, Sean Dyche, claimed that Arsenal have the look of Premier League champions during his interview after the match ended.

The 13-time English champions next visit Bournemouth on Saturday for another league game.
