Ahead of the semi-finals of Europa League and Europa Conference League, Michael Owen has offered his predictions of how the score from each match will end.

We’re down to four teams in the Europa League and Europa Conference League.

Some exciting match-ups await and we are all eagerly on the lookout for some interesting predictions. The four first-leg semi-final ties will be all played on Thursday, April 28.

To answer this, we turned to former Liverpool and Real Madrid striker Michael Owen on BetVictor for his tips on the latest Europa League round.

🏆 Europa League

RB Leipzig vs Rangers

 Michael Owen’s score prediction: 2-1

“Rangers have done brilliantly to get this far and will travel to Germany with some confidence. They beat Dortmund in Germany earlier this season, so they know they can get the job done.

“Leipzig have been in very good form both domestically and in Europe, this won’t be easy. Rangers will need to keep [Christopher] Nkunku quiet, he’s got 30 goals this season. I think Leipzig will win, but I can see Rangers getting a goal. I’m leaning towards a 2-1 Leipzig win.”

West Ham vs Eintracht Frankfurt

 Michael Owen’s score prediction: 1-0

“What an occasion this will be for West Ham, the atmosphere will be brilliant. After that thrilling win in Lyon in the last round, the players must be full of confidence in Europe.

“Frankfurt are a good side, and they deserved that 3-2 win in Barcelona in the quarters. They shouldn’t be underestimated here. However, I’ve still got to go for West Ham. I think this will be a very even first leg, but West Ham will edge it 1-0!”

🏆 Europa Conference League

Leicester City vs AS Roma

 Michael Owen’s score prediction: 2-1

“[Jose] Mourinho back in England, I can’t wait!

“Leicester have taken this competition seriously, and this is a great tie for the club. I’m sure Brendan Rodgers will be relishing going up against his former boss at Chelsea.

“Mourinho’s Roma have a good second half of the season, led in large parts by Tammy Abraham. He’s got 24 goals in all competitions in his debut season in Italy, that’s a great return. I think Leicester will take a lead to Rome. I’m going for 2-1”

Feyenoord vs Marseille

 Michael Owen’s score prediction: 1-1

“This looks like another even tie. Feyenoord got here after winning 3-1 in Prague against Slavia, that’s an impressive result.

“Marseille have had a great season in France and are on the verge of finishing 2nd. I can’t see them losing in this first leg. I’m picking a 1-1 draw.”
