As links with FC Barcelona grow stronger with each passing week, Memphis Depay gave an update on his situation and transfer plans.
Memphis Depay has revealed Barcelona are not only the club interested in him and that he won’t rush into any decision over his future.
Barcelona have been interested in Depay since his former Netherlands boss Ronald Koeman became the club’s manager last year.
And with the Lyon forward out of contract in the summer, the Blaugrana are favorites to sign him on a free transfer. However, they’re not the only club keen to capitalize on this opportunity.
Barcelona are now negotiating directly with Memphis Depay: it won’t be a long term contract, only two or three years. 🇳🇱
Depay left SEG Agency and he’s gonna decide his future with new lawyers.

“Barcelona has shown interest in me, but they are not the only ones who have been interested,” Depay told L’Equipe.
“At the moment, nothing has been done with any team.”
The 27-year-old recently announced plans to take charge of negotiations for arguably the most important decision of his career to date.
That said, Depay’s main priority is to focus on a solid end to the 2020/21 campaign with Lyon before he joins the Netherlands for this summer’s European Championship.
“First, I want to focus on the Euro,” the former Manchester United star said on when he could decide his future.
“The decision regarding my future deserves a time of reflection. I would not have liked not to end my contract at Lyon. Right now I enjoy my freedom and football.”
