Former France striker Djibril Cisse has urged compatriot Kylian Mbappe to consider a big move to a certain Premier League club.

Mbappe should leave PSG and consider a big move to reigning Premier League champions, says Cisse.

Over the past few years, the French forward has grown from being a promising youngster to one of the very best footballers around.

Mbappe has continued to prove his worth at PSG but a cloud of doubt has remained over his future so far.

The 22-year-old has been linked with Real Madrid at one point and has now recently been linked with a move to Liverpool.

His current contract with PSG will expire in the summer of 2022. Just last December, PSG sporting director Leonardo revealed the club were making progress in contract renewal talks for the Frenchman.

However, Cisse, who once starred for Liverpool, believes Mbappe would be tailor-made for the Premier League.

The 39-year-old is now urging his compatriot to move to one of the biggest clubs in the world.

“Kylian Mbappe suits the English style of football and he would fit into Liverpool’s system well,” Cisse told William Hill.

“The Kop would absolutely love him because they want players with a fighting spirit and a direct style of play that can always make something happen with them in the side.”

“He’s not the type of player who plays the ball side-to-side. He is always going to use the ball and go at players in a one-v-one situation and make things happen. He is always going to create chances.”

“I think he would do very well at Liverpool, so we’ll see what happens. If I had the chance to meet him and speak to him, then I would give him the advice to go.”

“It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity and he wouldn’t regret it.”
