In an alarming turn of events against PSG, Kylian Mbappe finally asked the most important question that will inevitably affect his future.
The war between PSG and Kylian Mbappe is only getting started after the young player’s first public statement about the issue. In a new interview that RMC Sport will publish tomorrow, Mbappe reveals the moment he told PSG he wanted to leave. This wasn’t in August, which was around the time the club leaked the information to the press. Mbappe spoke to the club during the final days of July about his intentions but he was completely ignored. In tomorrow’s interview, Mbappe talks about the way everything happened.
He confirmed he never rejected any contract extensions because none was presented to him. This leaves the idea that the club has been hiding the truth for several months but this is not the most troubling aspect of this entire situation. A pattern of an abusive relationship is starting to emerge between Kylian Mbappe and the club’s chairman: Nasser Al-Khelaifi. We’ve been telling the player to beware of these red flags but it might be too late to tell the world.
Mbappe ponders the most important question.
A piece of the interview that we failed to report is a very important question we are all asking ourselves with all of this. We’ve been trying to predict PSG’s behavior when Mbappe starts rejecting contract extension after contract extension. Also, Al-Khelaifi publicly stated there was no way Mbappe would leave for free. This is when the player quickly reacted by asking: “It’s quite scary when your president states ‘he will never leave for free’. The moment I heard that, I choked. I was like, ‘then, what will happen now?’.
It’s evident Kylian is starting to worry about his future at the club after showing signs that he wanted to leave. Will Nasser Al-Khelaifi keep him locked inside a cage made of gold or will he allow him to leave next season? There is no way they would allow Kylian to not leave a large amount of money but PSG missed their chance to make a massive payday this summer. Mbappe is finally asking the right questions.
