With the January transfer window at a close distance, Gabriel Martinelli’s father talked about his future at Arsenal amid exit rumours.

Gabriel Martinelli has not been receiving enough playing time at Arsenal and has developed transfer speculations as we head towards the January window. However, the Brazilian’s father stated his opinion regarding his exit talk.

Under Mikel Arteta, the 20-year-old forward has been fighting for minutes at the Emirates Stadium. And rumours of his return to his childhood club Corinthians have been circumnavigating the football world.

In fact, top clubs have been showing their interest in signing Martinelli, but a deal has not been finalized anywhere. Regardless of all the gossip, his father urged that the attacker will stay at Arsenal until his contract ends.

Martinelli’s father said on Yahoo: “Since he came back from an injury, he’s been playing a lot less than he would have liked.

“There has been some talk of proposals from Europe, but Arsenal have already warned that they will not release him.

“People like him a lot. Not only for what he does when he plays but also for his dedication. Martinelli is almost always the first to arrive for training and the last to leave.”
