Gabriel Martinelli says he has benefitted from his relationship on and off the pitch with fellow youngsters Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith-Rowe.

Gabriel Martinelli is not only enjoying his teammates’ bond on the pitch but their relationship extends off it as well.

The teenager says he has learned a lot from his friendship with fellow youngsters Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith-Rowe.

Martinelli alongside Saka and Smith-Rowe are among the Gunners’ brightest talents. They remain one of the shining lights under Mikel Arteta even in a somewhat disappointing campaign so far.

Martinelli in particular has proven his worth to Arsenal since he joined the club in 2019.

Saka has risen to the very top under Mikel Arteta while Smith-Rowe is the latest youngster to see first-team football at the Emirates.

Martinelli has now revealed all of the youngsters share a similar rapport on and off the pitch.

“Yeah, they are amazing,” he told Sky Sports.

“We have a very good relationship. Not just on the pitch, but off it as well.

“In the dressing room, we sit next to each other. We always talk and we’re always having fun, which is nice for us.”

Martinelli has been plagued by injuries this term and has not played as regularly as he did in the previous season.
