Marcus Rashford is the latest Manchester United star to comment on the club’s fluctuating form so far this season.

Marcus Rashford is pretty optimistic United will return to winning ways soon.

The Red Devils have blown hot and cold this term and they are proving to be one unpredictable side.

Rashford was on top form as United beat PSG and Leipzig in the Champions League over the space of two weeks.

But it’s been a different story in the Premier League. Ole Solskjaer’s men have already lost to Crystal Palace, suffered thrashing at the hands of Tottenham, and most recently to Arsenal at Old Trafford.

Rashford says it’s back to the drawing board for United and the forward has backed his side to return stronger to winning ways.

“This is something I’ve been doing since I was a kid and something I love to do,” he told United’s official website.

“For it to maybe not go as well as I planned it to be, it’s heartbreaking. I think it’s a period where we need to get back to basics and find ways to win games.”

“It’s been tough,” Rashford added. “Obviously, we’ve had a lot of big games and games we need to get points in. It’s been a bit up and down but it’s like that sometimes.”

“It’s been an alright month but, for now, it’s all about sticking together and finding a way to win games and really picking up the belief.”

“We always bounce back when we don’t do so well and I think it’s another one of those times. We have to come together as a team, get back to the basics, and win games.”

United have a good chance to bounce back with a relatively easy clash against Basaksehir in the Champions League on Wednesday.

The Red Devils are favorites to win that one and Rashford will fancy his chances at grabbing a goal or two on that occasion.
