The Man United star has reacted to a report involving Ronaldo’s role in his side’s dressing room.

As Manchester United continue their struggle for consistency, several reports have claimed Ronaldo is growing more frustrated over his role under Ralf Rangnick.

The Portuguese superstar has failed to adapt to the German manager’s tactics, intensifying rumours around his desire to leave the club next summer.

In recent weeks, a few media outlets have claimed the 37-year-old’s efforts to establish leadership in the club’s dressing room has angered Marcus Rashford and Harry Maguire.

Rashford has now taken to Twitter to dismiss reports around the split-up in Man United’s dressing room.

The England star responded to a tweet from Sportbild journalist Christian Falk, who claimed Ronaldo’s moves are ‘irritating’ the English players within the squad.

“Are we just making it up as we go along now then?” the forward replied.

“Please stop looking for divides.”

United are competing in a tight race to finish in the Premier League’s top four. The Red Devils sit fourth in the league, four points behind third-place Chelsea.

Ronaldo and co will face Leeds on Sunday before meeting Atletico Madrid in the Champions League three days later.
