The 34-year-old Brazilian celebrated his Olympiacos goal in trademark CR7 style.
Marcelo emulated former Real Madrid teammate Cristiano Ronaldo’s famous goal celebration on Wednesday night.
The full-back took a leaf out of Ronaldo’s book after scoring for Olympiacos – the club he signed for last summer from Real Madrid – in a 2-2 draw against Atromitos in the last-16 of the Greek Cup.
He did it with a wonderfully taken volley and later tagged Ronaldo on Twitter with some pictures.

Marcelo and Ronaldo became close friends during their nine years together at Real Madrid. They won four Champions League titles and countless other honors during a glorious goal-laden period between 2009 and 2018.
They both ply their trade away from Madrid, with Ronaldo recently signing up for Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr on a two-year deal.
Marcelo, on the other hand, has bagged three goals in 10 games for Olympiacos. He scored a brace in the first leg of the round of 16 tie Atromitos and was on target again on Thursday.
The ex-Real Madrid captain’s goals helped his new team advance to the next round of the Greek Cup with a 6-3 aggregate win. Next up is a home league game against Aris.
