Arsenal will visit the newly-promoted Leeds United this weekend, and Marcelo Bielsa expects a tough fight with Mikel Arteta.
Leeds United gaffer Marcelo Bielsa admired his coming opponent Mikel Arteta and the work he has done with Arsenal. The Argentinian tactician mentioned his amusement regarding the tactics used by the Gunners during games. Arsenal will fly to Elland Road to take on newcomers Leeds in the Premier League tussle this weekend. And Bielsa is aware that his team will face a tough fight on Sunday.
The 65-year-old’s passion for the game is well-known, as we have witnessed his side light up wonderful performances this season. But Bielsa is impressed by the tactical changes made by Arteta on his team.
“Arsenal is one of the best teams in the league,” Bielsa said at a press conference on Friday. “They have players of hierarchy in all of their lines.
“They have a manager who proposes a style which distinguishes the team. He’s a coach who wants his team to play as he projects.
“From a tactical point of view, if you watch Arsenal closely they show things that I have never seen in any other team.”
Additionally, Arteta is still in his emerging phase having taken charge of the Gunners last season. Though, his work under Pep Guardiola seems to have developed a tactical game point for his team. And Bielsa knows that Arteta is on the right path to success and is eager for this anticipated battle this weekend.
