The former Leeds United boss has emerged as a coaching option for Bournemouth.

Newly-promoted side Bournemouth are reportedly negotiating to bring Marcelo Bielsa back to the Premier League.

The veteran Leeds United manager left Elland Road after a period of poor results last season. Since then, he has stayed out of work despite approaches from several clubs.

However, the Italian boss now seems ready to take on his next Premier League job.

According to 90min, Bournemouth are in talks with Bielsa to replace their interim manager Gary O’Neil.

In August, the Cherries sacked Scott Parker, who had led them to Premier League promotion last season.

O’Neil found a brilliant start to the new campaign, but his side have suffered a serious dip in form recently.

Having lost their last four league games, Bournemouth have slipped to the 14th spot in the Premier League. Despite initial reports backing O’Neil to continue his job until the end of the season, Bielsa might replace him as soon as this winter.

The club’s new owner, Bill Foley, is actively participating in decisions over the next manager. The American businessman is reportedly keen to sign Bielsa due to his fine reputation and experience in the Premier League.
