The English star has been frozen out of United’s squad by Erik ten Hag.

Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund are reportedly negotiating over a possible loan move for Jadon Sancho.

Erik ten Hag has kept Sancho out of United’s squad since August due to disciplinary issues. The club are now open to allowing the 23-year-old’s departure on a January move.

According to Sky Sports Germany, Dortmund are keen to re-sign Sancho on a six-month loan deal, with the player himself also being eager to complete the transfer back to the Bundesliga.

Sancho, who moved to Old Trafford on a £73m deal in 2021, is also on Juventus’ radar. However, it seems that Dortmund are leading the race to sign their former player.

A report from Bild claims the negotiations between Dortmund and United are already over, with the two parties being very close to reaching an agreement. The German publication expects Sancho to join Dortmund’s training next week.

The English winger hasn’t played since being dropped from United’s squad for a match against Arsenal in August. Returning to Dortmund, where he developed into one of Europe’s most promising forwards, could help Sancho revive his career.

If Ten Hag survives as United’s manager until the end of the season, the club will most likely consider selling Sancho on a permanent deal.
