Manchester United have themselves a scare ahead of their clash with PSG. It appears Harry Maguire and Mason Greenwood will miss out.

Even with all personnel fit, it’s never an easy one to go against French giants PSG. With some key players missing, the task could prove to be even more difficult. There was some hope Edinson Cavani would be fit to face his former side but reports has it he didn’t travel with the United squad. On top of that, Harry Maguire and Mason Greenwood will likely miss the game as well.

As reported by Manchester Evening News, the Red Devils could be without all three mentioned names.

Maguire was a doubt to face Newcastle at the weekend but passed a late test and put out an assuring performance. He was on the scoresheet as well.

As per the report, Mason Greenwood also missed that game due to an unspecified injury. It might be that the youngster is yet to fully recover from that knock.

To that effect, United have already included youngster Facundo Pellistri in their squad to face PSG. The Uruguayan teenager was one of the four signings the club made on deadline day.

The likely absence of Maguire will be a blow to Ole Solskjaer as United have already fallen suspect in the defensive department on many occasions this season.

With Eric Bailly also among the missing members to travel, the Red Devils could have Victor Lindelof partner Axel Tuanzebe in the heart of defence.

No doubt, the PSG players will fancy their chances to capitalize on a ‘weakened’ United defensive line.
