The Manchester United winger is on the verge of returning to Borussia Dortmund.

Manchester United are reportedly unhappy with the disclosure of their loan agreement with Borussia Dortmund for Jadon Sancho.

The English forward has been frozen out of United’s squad for the past five months due to disciplinary issues. The Red Devils have now agreed to loan him back to Borussia Dortmund on a mid-season move.

According to Sky Sports, Manchester United is set to receive only £3 million in loan fees for Sancho. Journalist Patrick Berger has claimed the Red Devils are unhappy that the details of Sancho’s move are leaked as it makes them “look like losers”.

Sancho moved to Old Trafford on a £73m deal in 2021, failing to live up to expectations as one of Europe’s most promising young wingers.

Erik ten Hag’s arrival last season made things worse for Sancho, who saw his playing time being further limited under the Dutch manager. The English winger hasn’t played since being dropped from United’s squad for a match against Arsenal in August.

For Sancho, who developed into one of Bundesliga’s best players at Dortmund, returning to the club could help him revive his career. However, United are expected to consider selling the 23-year-old on a permanent basis, especially if Ten Hag survives as their manager until the end of the season.
