Manchester United unveiled further adjustments to its executive structure as the club transitions into a new era under co-owner Jim Ratcliffe.

Interim CEO Patrick Stewart and CFO Cliff Baty will depart at the end of the season by mutual agreement. INEOS Sport CEO Jean-Claude Blanc will assume the role of chief executive until Omar Berrada, formerly of Manchester City, takes over on July 13. Baty will be succeeded by Roger Bell, former CFO of INEOS Sport.

Ratcliffe expressed gratitude to Stewart and Baty for their contributions in acclimating the club to the new ownership. He acknowledged their decisions to move on as United establishes a fresh management team.

INEOS, led by Ratcliffe, acquired a 25% stake in United in February, instigating significant changes within the club. Former CEO Richard Arnold departed in November, while football director John Murtough recently exited.

Ratcliffe’s investment, set to increase to a 27.7% stake, has empowered him to take charge of United’s football operations. INEOS director of sport Dave Brailsford and Blanc have joined the club’s board.

The appointment of Berrada as CEO and Jason Wilcox as technical director, formerly of Manchester City’s academy, signals United’s strategic revamp under Ratcliffe’s ownership.
