Manchester United came back from behind to defeat Arsenal as Cristiano Ronaldo scored a brace.

Manchester United defeated Arsenal with a 3-2 result in their Premier League match on Thursday. The Red Devils climb to seventh place on the table as they prepare for a new era under Ralf Rangnick.

Ronaldo clinches the victory again!

Arsenal dominated the first few minutes and scored an early opener through Emile Smith-Rowe in the 13th minute. Manchester United immediately started their efforts to get the equalizer but had to wait until the last minute of the first half. Bruno Fernandes equalized the game by converting Fred’s precise assists just before the half-time whistle.

Cristiano Ronaldo put Manchester United ahead in the 52nd minute, but the Red Devils’ celebration was short-lived. Martin Odegaard got the equalizer only two minutes later as Man United were shocked by the quick turnaround.

However, Ronaldo was there to rescue Man United again. Odegaard committed a careless tackle on Fred that persuaded the referee to award the hosts a penalty. Completing his brace, Ronaldo scored the 800th goal of his career by converting the penalty.

The goal was enough to secure the three points for Man United on home soil. The Red Devils will now prepare to play their first game under Rangnick against Crystal Palace on Sunday.

On the other hand, Arsenal remains in fifth place with another poor result against the top-six teams. The Gunners will face Everton in their next match.
