It wasn’t the prettiest of wins but the Red Devils earned the much-needed three points to move back to second place in the league standings.

Manchester United sealed a narrow 1-0 victory against West Ham in the Premier League on Sunday.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s took 15 shots in total, only four of them were on target, but none of those went past a determined Lucas Fabianski.

It was a second-half own goal by Craig Dawson, who inadvertently slipped a Bruno Fernandes corner into his own net, that decided the match.

The visitors caused plenty of problems for the hosts after the break but, in the end, paid the price for being quite disappointing in the final third of the pitch.

The Red Devils have now kept four clean sheets in a row and are unbeaten in their last 13 games across all competitions.

Next up for them is the Europa League last-16 return leg against AC Milan on Thursday.
