Rangnick gets off to a winning start at Manchester United with a victory against the Eagles.

Manchester United defeated Crystal Palace with a 1-0 result in their Premier League match on Sunday. The Red Devils celebrate back-to-back victories as they climb up to sixth place on the table.

Rangnick starts with a victory!

Manchester United dominated the possession in the first half. However, Palace’s keeper Vicente Guaita prevented Cristiano Ronaldo and Bruno Fernandes from scoring with several spectacular saves.

Man United looked even more organized in their attacks during the second half. The Red Devils finally broke the deadlock in the 77th minute. Fred scored the first goal of Rangnick’s era with a stunning shot from the edge of the box.

Palace looked dangerous in the final ten minutes but didn’t manage to get past the Red Devils’ backline.

The victory takes Rangnick’s side to sixth place on the table, one point away from Tottenham. Man United will now prepare to face Young Boys in the Champions League on Wednesday.

On the other hand, Palace slipped to 12th place after suffering their third consecutive draw. The pressure is mounting on Patrick Vieira ahead of his side’s next game against Everton.
