The Sky Blues maintain a perfect record in their European campaign so far and they are only expected to extend it on Tuesday night.

After enduring heartbreaks in the past editions of the competition, Manchester City look determined to make their mark on the Champions League this campaign.

They have been asserting their dominance in their group and will look to keep doing so on matchday 3.

Up next they go against Olympiacos at home on Tuesday and will look to seal all three points that will put them on the cusp of the knockout stages.

Manchester City vs Olympiacos Form:

The Sky Blues cannot have many complaints about their opening two European games, a 3-1 victory against Porto followed by a 3-0 win over Marseille.

Defensive instability was a concern for them in the early stages of the Premier League but now that is gradually being sorted out following the returns of Nathan Ake, Aymeric Laporte, and Oleksandr Zinchenko from injury.

Following the chaotic 5-2 defeat to Leicester City, they have conceded just three goals in seven games recording four clean sheets in the process.

The Greek side will be desperate not to become the English team’s next victim, as unavoidable as it seems.

The Red-Whites have been inconsistent this season but go into Champions League matchday 3 on the back of a comfortable 2-0 Super League Greece victory. The domestic form might come in handy for them as they are yet to taste defeat in five matches in the league.

Manchester City vs Olympiacos Head-to-head:

The Premier League side have never been found on the wrong side of the scoreline in previous matches against their upcoming opponents bar once.

It is worth noting that Man City registered a clean sheet in each of the five wins against the Greeks. Olympiacos also did not concede on the only occasion they won over the Premier League side.

Manchester City vs Olympiacos Team News:

Sergio Aguero, Gabriel Jesus, Fernandinho, and Benjamin Mendy include those who will remain absent for the clash.

Mady Camara, Ousseynou Ba, and Hillal Soudani are unavailable for selection for Pedro Martins with the trio recovering from COVID-19.
