The reigning English and European champions have broken the record books yet again after a mesmerizing treble-winning campaign.
Manchester City have posted a new Premier League revenue record of £712.8 million.
This came for the financial year of 2022/23. The total surpassed Manchester United’s previous high of £648.8 million and is a rise of £99.8 million from the last campaign.
Manchester City’s profit for the year stands at £80.4 million, marking a notable £41.7 million increase from the prior year. This growth is credited to their success in the Premier League, Champions League, and FA Cup, leading to a rise in broadcast revenues and club membership.
The Citizens’ wage bill reached £422.9 million, and they have committed to substantial transfer fees and bonuses. Despite incurring around £84 million in transfer costs, the club made a profit of £121.7 million on player sales.
Pep Guardiola’s team will return to action on November 25 at home to Liverpool in the Premier League.
