Manchester City negotiates with Benfica over Ruben Dias

Manchester City looks for another player as they started negotiations with Portugal club Benfica over central defender Ruben Dias.

Manchester City are discussing trading player Nicolas Otamendi to Benfica in exchange for centre-back Ruben Dias.

Since the departure of former captain Vincent Kompany 18 months ago the club has failed in finding a replacement. This has become Pep Guardiola’s priority in finding a right-sided central defender.
