Manchester City cruise past the Toffees to claim second place on the Premier League table.

Manchester City defeated Everton 3-0 in their Premier League game on Sunday. The Citizens displayed another brilliant attacking performance as Everton continued their six-match winless run.

Rodri nets a stunner in a usual Man City show!

As usual, Manchester City started the game by claiming possession. Raheem Sterling broke the deadlock just before the half time as he scored his second league goal of the season.

Everton continued their underwhelming performance upfront as they barely got any chances of equalizing the result in the second half. Rodri fired a stunning strike to double the Citizens’ lead five minutes before the hour-mark.

Man City continued their attacks after the second goal and got their third one through Bernardo Silva in the 86th minute.

Pep Guardiola’s side climbed back above Liverpool to claim second place on the Premier League table. They are three points above Chelsea, who smashed Leicester City 3-0 this week. On the other hand, Everton slipped to 11th place on the table as they continued their disastrous run of recent weeks.
