The Red Devils are keen to add a new keeper to their ranks this summer.

Manchester United are reportedly planning to make a €50m offer for Inter’s Andre Onana.

Uncertainty surrounding David de Gea’s future has forced United to monitor the transfer market for a new keeper ahead of the next season.

Reports emerged last season that De Gea agreed to sign a contract extension with reduced wages. However, the club have recently informed the keeper that they are withdrawing their previous offer.

Yann Sommer appeared on Man Utd’s offer to replace the Spaniard. But it seems the club are ready to make a formal bid for Onana.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Man Utd and Inter officials held a meeting in Ibiza regarding Onana’s potential transfer to Old Trafford.

The Red Devils reportedly hope to sign Onana for €50m plus add-ons. But the Italian outlet claims their bid falls short of Inter’s €60m valuation of the Cameroonian star.

De Gea’s contract at United will expire this Friday, with no signs of a contract extension being imminent. The Spanish keeper could end his 12-year spell at Old Trafford after a campaign that saw him win his second Premier League Golden Glove.
