The Red Devils are eager to add a new star striker to their ranks.

Manchester United are reportedly eying a blockbuster move for Randal Kolo Muani in the summer.

Kolo Muani’s performances at Eintracht Frankfurt have attracted interest from a host of elite European sides. The 24-year-old also enjoyed a fantastic World Cup campaign with France that intensified transfer rumours about his future.

Reports from German media claimed Bayern Munich are seriously considering a move for the Kolo Muani. But the Bavarians will face stiff competition from Man Utd.

According to Bild, Man Utd are now leading the race to sign the French striker. The German newspaper claims the Red Devils are preparing a €120m offer for Kolo Muani.

Such a move would break the club’s all-time transfer record, revealing Erik ten Hag’s desire to sign a reliable No.9. However, United won’t have a lot of leverage in their negotiations with Eintracht as Kolo Muani’s current deal runs until 2027.

The 24-year-old has shown incredible form in Bundesliga this season, registering 11 goals and 12 assists in his 23 appearances. However, his lack of experience in the Premier League could convince United to explore other options.

The Guardian has claimed Harry Kane is Ten Hag’s main transfer priority for the next summer. However, Tottenham are reportedly unwilling to sell the England international despite his contract expiry in 2024.
