The Red Devils forward picked up a muscle injury last weekend.

Erik ten Hag has revealed Marcus Rashford could return to Manchester United’s squad soon.

The England international sustained a muscle injury during Man Utd’s 2-0 victory over Everton on Saturday. Later, the Red Devils confirmed he could miss “a few games” before regaining full fitness.

Ten Hag also avoided giving a specific timeframe for Rashford’s return. However, he expects the in-form star to join the rest of Man Utd’s squad soon.

“A few games, so that’s the statement,” he said. “I can’t give more details on it because we don’t know. We’ll have to see it how it develops.

“It’s a setback and he’s disappointed, but he’s not totally broke because he will return quickly. He’s started his rehab and that helps to get back soon.”

According to Ten Hag, Alejandro Garnacho and Luke Shaw will also miss United’s upcoming match against Sevilla in the Europa League.

“No, both [are] not available,” He added.

“Definitely, the injury of Garnacho is more severe, is more strong, but Luke Shaw I expect him back at short notice, yes.”

Man Utd’s congested schedule has contributed to their squad problems lately. Following their Europa League game against Sevilla, Ten Hag’s men will face Nottingham Forest in the Premier League on Sunday.
