The talented winger’s form dipped after a failed move to the Premier League but he now seems to have put the transfer saga behind him.

Jadon Sancho feels settled at Borussia Dortmund as he declares he came back “raring to go” after the winter break.

Sancho seemed destined to join Manchester United during the summer but the transfer failed to materialize with the Red Devils and BVB failing to settle on a transfer price.

A massive slip in standards was thereafter witnessed from the English forward who was one of the most productive players in Europe in 2019-20, scoring 20 goals and registering as many assists.

Dortmund chief Hans-Joachim Watzke and former boss Lucien Favre both connected the player’s dip in with his prolonged summer transfer saga.

Sancho, though, is gradually rediscovering his form following a change of management at Dortmund and is determined to get back to performing at his best again.

“Obviously this season has been very difficult for me personally,” Sancho told bundesliga.com after scoring his first league goal of the season in the 3-1 away win over RB Leipzig.

“So I knew when I went away, I just focused on my game and came back raring to go. I’m working hard every day in training and on the pitch so I’m just happy to get my goals and assists.”
