The Portuguese superstar has reportedly asked to leave Old Trafford this summer.
Manchester United have set a price tag for Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure after the forward requested to leave this summer.
On Saturday, several news outlets revealed Ronaldo had asked United to ‘consider’ the transfer offers that they receive for him.
Only a season into his sensational move back to Old Trafford, CR7 is looking for a new transfer. But which clubs are in the market for the five-time Ballon d’Or winner, and how much they should pay to sign him?
According to The Times, the Red Devils would accept a £12.9m offer, which is what they paid Juventus last summer to sign Ronaldo.
United have also agreed to pay additional bonuses to Juventus, which take the overall fee to £17m.
Chelsea are the only Premier League side that have shown interest in signing the Portuguese superstar. The London club’s owner, Todd Boehly, has recently held a meeting with Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes.
In addition to the Blues, Bayern Munich’s name has also emerged among Ronaldo’s possible destinations. The club have already clarified they are not keen to sign the 37-year-old this summer.
However, the potential departure of Robert Lewandowski might convince the Bavarians to change their mind in the remaining weeks of the transfer window.
Bayern might also be able to negotiate a lower transfer fee since United prefers to avoid selling Ronaldo to a Premier League rival.
