The Manchester United boss has called up several young players for the training session.

Erik ten Hag has announced his squad for Manchester United’s first day of pre-season training ahead of the 2021-22 campaign.

The Dutchman has invited 28 players, mostly youngsters and those who didn’t play during the latest international break. United players return to training on Monday, sooner than any other ‘Big Six’ team in the Premier League.

Anthony Martial, who has returned from his underwhelming loan spell at Sevilla, will train with the team on Monday.

The likes of David de Gea and Marcus Rashford, who didn’t play for their respective national teams, will also meet the new boss this week.
