The Red Devils have seen four senior players return to training on Wednesday.

Marcus Rashford and three other Manchester United players made their return to team training on Wednesday.

The England international picked up a groin injury in his side’s 2-0 win over Everton earlier this month. However, he has edged closer to making his return to the pitch sooner than expected.

Rashford trained with the rest of Man Utd’s squad in their last training session before travelling to Sevilla on Thursday.

In addition to the 25-year-old, Luke Shaw, Marcel Sabitzer and Tyrell Malacia have also returned to the training ground.
Shaw has stayed out of action since limping off the pitch in United’s 1-0 victory against Brentford on April 5. The England international’s return is a major squad boost for the Red Devils, who have to play without Lisandro Martinez in their backline.

The club didn’t clarify what Sabitzer’s fitness problem was that forced him to withdraw from Man Utd’s squad for their win over Nottingham Forest on Sunday.

However, it seems the Austrian star is ready to return to his side’s matchday squad after taking part in team training on Wednesday.

United face Sevilla at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan on the back of a 2-2 draw in the first leg. Erik ten Hag’s men will then travel to Brighton to meet the Seagulls in the FA Cup semi-finals.
