The Red Devils are monitoring the market for a new striker ahead of the next summer.

Manchester United are reportedly eying moves for Rasmus Hojlund and Randal Kolo Muani in their ongoing search for a new striker.

Harry Kane has emerged as Man Utd’s number-one target for the position. However, Tottenham’s desire to keep him at any cost has seemingly forced the Red Devils to consider other options.

According to Manchester Evening News, Hojlund and Kolo Muani are United’s “more affordable” alternatives to Kane.

Hojlund has attracted interest from several elite European sides with his performances at Atalanta this season. Earlier this month, the 20-year-old confirmed his interest in joining the Red Devils, confessing he’s a “huge Man Utd fan”.

Kolo Muani, on the other hand, is one of the most wanted young strikers in Europe. The French star built on his amazing performances for Eintracht with an impressive World Cup campaign.

This season, the 24-year-old has registered 11 goals and 12 assists at Eintracht, attracting interest from Bayern Munich. The German champions are also in the race to sign Kane, who has been linked with them since Robert Lewandowski’s departure.

In addition to Kane, Kolo Muani, and Hojlund, Napoli’s Victor Osimhen has also emerged on United’s radar. However, a big-money move for the Senegal international is unlikely since Erik ten Hag reportedly looks for “guaranteed” Premier League goals.
