The Red Devils have bid a fond farewell to outgoing midfielder Paul Pogba.
Manchester United have confirmed Paul Pogba will leave the club once his contract expires at the end of this month.
The 29-year-old midfielder leaves Old Trafford for the second time as a free agent, having previously done so in 2012 to join Juventus.
He rejoined Manchester United in 2016 for a then-world record fee of €105 million but struggled to reach expectations, making just 27 appearances during an injury-hit final season.
“It was a low-key end to a United career that brought so many individual high moments,” read a club statement.
“So many beautiful goals, assists and pieces of skill. For a boy that joined the academy at 16 to make over 200 United appearances and lift the Youth Cup, along with two major pieces of silverware, is something that should be applauded and celebrated.”

What is Pogba’s record at Man Utd?
In 233 appearances across all competitions, Pogba managed 39 goals and 51 assists. The midfielder won the Europa League and EFL Cup in his first season back at the club in 2016/17.
Unfortunately, that was the only time Pogba won major silverware in his second spell.
He lost the vice-captaincy in 2018 after a fallout with then-manager Jose Mourinho and suffered a decline in form and a series of injuries towards the end of his Red Devils career.
Pogba’s former club Juventus are the reported favorites to sign him ahead of French champions Paris Saint-Germain.
