The South Korean defender has attracted interest from a number of elite sides this season.
Manchester United have reportedly joined the race to sign Kim Min-Jae alongside Tottenham and Liverpool.
Kim arrived at Napoli on an €18m deal last summer, quickly establishing a reputation as a top-class defender in Serie A.
The centre-back’s performances have been crucial to Napoli’s Serie A run this season. Only Lazio have conceded fewer goals than the Blues in the Italian top flight.
According to Daily Mail, a host of top European sides are considering moves for Kim. In addition to Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich, three Premier League clubs are keen to sign the South Korean star.
Kim has a £40m release clause in his current Napoli contract. However, the club are keen to renew his deal before the summer amid serious interest from other clubs to activate the clause.
Luciano Spalletti hopes to keep Kim for at least another season at Napoli. However, interest from Premier League sides could convince the 26-year-old to snub contract talks with the Serie A giants.
“Kim does at least 20 incredible things per game,” Spalletti said last month. “For me he truly is the best centre-back in the world.
“When he starts the run with the ball at his feet, he can get it into the opposition penalty area in five seconds flat.”
