The Brazil international has become a key part of Ten Hag’s plan since arriving at Old Trafford.
Casemiro has admitted that Erik ten Hag’s obsession with winning has surprised him at Manchester United.
Despite his side’s occasional struggles for consistency, Ten Hag has greatly improved United’s form since arriving at the club.
His work has impressed Casemiro, who has formed a solid double pivot alongside Christian Eriksen at the heart of Ten Hag’s midfield setup.
“After being in football for quite a while even though I’m only 30, his obsession for winning is what surprised me the most,” Casemiro said.
“I think he’s got many strengths. We all know it’s a process and we’re growing together.
“We want to win and [Ten Hag] is obsessed with teaching us and making us better to the millimetre.
“That obsession with winning is something I’ve only seen with very few managers.”
A crucial win over West Ham saw Man Utd climb up to the fifth spot in the Premier League on Monday.
Following a narrow win over Real Sociedad in the Europa League, the Red Devils will return to the Premier League, where they take on Aston Villa on Sunday.
