The Red Devils are open to making three major sales this January.

Manchester United have been struggling with consistency so far this season despite Erik ten Hag’s efforts to stabilize the dressing room.

The Dutchman exiled Jadon Sancho from United’s squad due to disciplinary reasons while returning Harry Maguire to his starting lineup in recent weeks. However, it seems the Red Devils are set for more personnel changes this winter.

According to the Independent, Casemiro, Raphael Varane, and Sancho are on Man United’s sale list for the upcoming transfer window. The trio could potentially be sold for around £170m, roughly the same amount that was spent to add Rasmus Hojlund, Mason Mount and Andre Onana to United’s squad in the summer.

Varane has struggled to find his way back into Ten Hag’s plan after returning from a serious injury earlier this season. Casemiro, on the other hand, was given enough playing time at the beginning stages of the season. But his apparent dip in form has seemingly convinced Ten Hag to look for a new midfielder.

After a crucial home win against Chelsea in mid-week, Man Utd will return to action with a clash against Bournemouth on Saturday. The Red Devils will then host Bayern Munich in their final group-stage match in the Champions League three days later.
